“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace…” — 1 Peter 4:10
We all have a tendency to look sideways to wish we had someone else’s swing, someone else’s platform, someone else’s story. But what if the very thing you’re overlooking is the exact gift God wants to use?
God doesn’t make mistakes. He doesn’t hand out talents randomly or call people without purpose. The skills you have, the perspective you carry, the passion that keeps showing up, it’s not accidental. It’s intentional.
In golf, it’s easy to compare. You might not drive the ball 300 yards or sink every birdie putt. But that doesn’t mean you’re not equipped. It means you’re invited to use what you do have with confidence and conviction.
The truth is, your gift might not always look flashy, but it is faithful. And God honors faithfulness.
So this week, stop waiting for the perfect moment or the perfect skill set. Start with what’s in your hands, your voice, your story, your presence. When you offer your gift back to God, He multiplies it in ways you can’t imagine.
Because impact doesn’t come from having it all, it comes from giving your all.
