Grace for Today

Grace for Today

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” – Matthew 6:34

Worry has a way of pulling us out of the present. We spend so much energy thinking about tomorrow’s challenges that we miss the grace God has already given for today.

Matthew 6:34 is a call back to the moment. Jesus reminds us that tomorrow isn’t ours to carry yet. What we do have is today and the strength He provides for it.

On the golf course, this looks like focusing on the shot in front of you. Not the one you shanked on the last hole. Not the one waiting on the eighteenth. Just the swing right here, right now. The more you try to play tomorrow’s round today, the more you lose your rhythm.

In life, the same truth holds. Worrying about tomorrow drains us of the joy, peace, and focus we’re meant to walk in today. God doesn’t ask us to carry the future. He asks us to trust Him with it and live faithfully in the present.

So this week, let’s lean into the rhythm of grace: one step, one swing, one day at a time. Tomorrow will come, but today is where God is meeting you.
