Bread of Life

Bread of Life

“Then Jesus declared, ‘I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.’” – John 6:35

We live in a world that’s constantly hungry for more, more success, more approval, more comfort. But no matter how much we chase, the satisfaction never lasts.

In John 6:35, Jesus offers something deeper. He reminds us that true fulfillment isn’t found in what we achieve, buy, or build, it’s found in Him. He doesn’t just provide what we need; He is what we need.

On the golf course, it’s easy to get caught up in results, the score, the swing, the perfect shot. But even when you hit it pure, the feeling fades. Life’s the same way. Every worldly win is temporary. But when your soul is anchored in Christ, you don’t just taste success, you experience peace that lasts.

Jesus calls Himself the bread of life because He’s the only source that truly satisfies. When you come to Him, you don’t have to keep striving to fill the empty places, He already has.

This week, let’s stop chasing what fades and start resting in what fills.

Because what you feed on shapes how you live.
